Why is Using Your Talent Important?

Hi readers! I’m Aurellia Tanica! I’m a ninth grader and I am one of Tunas Bangsa Christian School’s students. Now, I am writing about the reasons of why is using our talent important. Let’s read this! (:

TALENT. What is the first thing that comes up in your mind when you hear the word “TALENT”? For me, talent is the ability to do something well. I know that GOD had given all of us special talents. Some are talented in music, some in sports, some in education, and many other else. GOD gave us according to our ability. There are some people that have five talents, two talents, or even one talent. Although we only have one talent, we should be grateful and always multiply it and make it excellent. We can’t be like the slave in the Bible that buried his talent. I think that’s just the intermezzo of my writing. Let’s go to the real topic!

 For me, using your talent that you have is important. Why? Because our talents are from GOD, we must use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.

Using our talent is also important because by using our talent, we can maximize it and we can gain something worth from using it. This is the example. You are really talented in designing something. You better try to apply for a job. Why? Because from there, you can get earnings.

The last reason is if you just waste your talent from GOD, GOD might take your talent and give it to other person, so you better manage your time wisely so that you can maximize your talent that GOD had given to you. But be careful! You can’t be snobbish! Why? Because GOD hates snobbish people and He also might destroy them!
